This request was made by Emi for Tyr.

Flames lick the sky, Muspel burning bright

The hoary frost loosing the river’s run

Ýmir’s blood bloomed behind You

Your Name brings victory, twice signed on spear and sword

So too the Brothers’ blades were bloodied

Red-marked Runes wrought Their ruin

When the waters receded, rede You gave

Foundations were placed, great posts dug deep

Hófs and walls rose resolute

In council You sat among the Æsir

Your wisdom was worked in law and war

Blessing the holmgang rite and law-rock

Fierce and hungering was the Wolf whelp

By Your hands was He raised on red meat

Loving devotion to the Dire Wolf

When Fenris grew fear could not find You

Though His fangs grew long and maw mighty

You persevered in Your compassion and care

True You stayed to Your Son

Oathing hand given for the biting bind

Tears to the treachery

You teach the truths of legality and loyalty

To each test You bless with bravery

When choice is razor and rock

Yours is wisdom’s edge sliced in stone

Relentless, Your strop hones the hearty

Who seek Your guidance and gift

Týr is the name of surety and severity

Whose echo calls the weapon worthy in war

Who forges mind and magic in Fire and cools them by Ice

A Prayer to Týr and Forseti

Týr and Forseti, holy Lords of Justice!
Look down on what has happened in this nation
See the tears from mother’s eyes
Hear the screams from open mouths

See injustice heaped on injustice
Borne generation after generation
Indignity heaped upon indignity
Murder on murder

The ears of the authorities are shut -open them!
The eyes of the authorities are shut -open them!
The hands of the authorities are shut -open them!
The hearts of the authorities are shut -open them!

May every injustice be known
May every injustice be reckoned
May every injustice be paid for
May every injustice be set right

Týr, one-handed God Who sacrificed
Recognize the sacrifices
Of body, heart, reputation, and soul
Who risk themselves against wolves

Forseti, Lord of lawspeakers
Foremost of mediators,
Let justice be served in letter and life
Protection and power for the people

Holy Gods hear this prayer
Be swift and bless the nation
That justice is restored
That right relationship is reborn

Your quiet countenance takes in the court

Machinations and movements laid bare

Like the sword and spear you wield

Truth cuts through and carves its path

Weregild and woe You witness

Wrong repaid and recompense made

Speech You give to the good heart

Who makes clear their case

Resolute, You are revered by the lawgiver

Honorable, You are worshiped by warriors

Gentle, You are requested by the wronged

Fierce, You are hailed in the holmgang

Your sacrifice saved the Nine Worlds

Your hand for Fenris given as gift for gift

Hýmir and Óðinn’s holy Son

May hails ever be heard by You

May Tyr and Forseti bring justice to the Dead, to the families, to all those harmed

May justice be done, lawful and swift

May Freyr, Gerda, and Freya bring Their love, sensuality, and vitality

May we celebrate ourselves together, and with Them, stand by those we love

May Odin and Frigga bring wisdom to the leaders

May action be guided by wisdom, may work be guided by insight

May Hela take up the Dead

May She bring Them comfort and care

May the Landvaettir be heard

May They, too, have justice, and may Their needs be met

May The Dead hear the calls of Their loved ones

May They know They are remembered, and may those They left behind be comforted

May the newly-Dead be long-remembered

May They be remembered for more than Their deaths; may Their lives be remembered well

Prayers for the Abused

Allmother, Holy Frigga, You hear the cries of a million million children

The vile threads that weave

The million million choices that could have undone the tragic tapestry

May the new threads woven

By these survivors and their families

Be clean and comforting

May the children know peace

Hail Frigga!

O Tyr, Judge and Lawspeaker

To those who have done wrong in silence or support

To those who harm the young

Help those harmed to be heard

Help those harmed to have their justice

Hail Tyr!
